The Commonwealth Office of Technology, Office of the Chief Information Security Officer, Identity and
Access Management team are looking for a talented individual to join our team in the role of an Identity
Tech Specialist who will focus on improving the efficiency of our infrastructure and availability of our
Enterprise Identity Management (EIM) application.
This candidate must have strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with experience managing
enterprise class applications and infrastructure.
The Identity Tech Specialist is responsible for supporting a large state government enterprise Identity
Management Infrastructure, such as Monitoring, Maintaining and Supporting Microsoft Identity
Manager (MIM) Infrastructure and Processes including Synchronization Service, Portal Service, Managed
Identities and Troubleshooting Workflows. The Identity Operations Tech Specialist will engineer services
and applications deploy these to a hybrid environment and support reporting, automation, and
processes related to them. In addition, the individual will share responsibility with the team to be the
primary escalation point for service requests. The primary responsibilities is to support MIM 2010 R2
(MIM Portal, MIM Service, and MIM Sync Engine implementation and testing of new/updated MIM
Management Agents and support existing Management Agents and perform daily Access and Identity
Management tasks Incidents/Problem Management. Knowledge with Microsoft Azure, Active Directory,
Microsoft Office 365, and associated tools that integrate and support the (MIM) Infrastructure
Basic knowledge of many of the following technologies and skills using products such as Active Directory,
Azure AD, PowerShell, Office 365, Exchange 2016:
 Proficient in PowerShell and SQL Queries
 Proficient with Microsoft Azure & Active Directory
 Proficient with Exchange 2016 & Office 365
 Proficient with Identity Management (User account management)
