The Kentuckiana ISSA Chapter is hosting its 4th annual information security workshop. This event is available for a donation to a great cause. The class will benefit Johnny Long and his family in their mission to support Hackers for Charity full-time in Uganda, Africa. Hackers for Charity is a non-profit organization that leverages the skills of technologists to solve technology challenges for various non-profits and provide food, equipment, job training and computer education to the world’s poorest citizens.

Instructors: Michael Robinson is the Lead Analyst for a Fortune 50 Cyber Security Operations Center (SOC). Michael provides leadership on the execution of a SOC while also performing Proactive Threat Hunting. Michael is also a US Army Signal Warrant Officer working in Defensive Cyber Operations for the State of Matthew Speer is a Senior Analyst for a Fortune 50 Cyber Security Operations Center (SOC). Matthew also serves as the Assistant Team Chief of the Kentucky Army National Guard’s Computer Network Defense Team, which performs cyber defensive operations at the state and national levels. Previously, he has worked in the airlines industry and cyber security within the Department of Defense. Joe Oney is a Senior Information Security Analyst for a Fortune 50 Cyber Security Operations Center (SOC), concentrating his efforts on the effective use of analytical processes and threat intelligence. He is a Russian Linguist with the Kentucky Air National Guard and currently holds the GIAC GMON #113 credential. Jeremy Druin (@webpwnized) works as an application, web, mobile and network security pen-tester for a multi-national transportation logistics company and is the owner of Ellipsis Information Security (http://www.ellipsisinfosec.com). Additionally Jeremy is the developer of the open-source OWASP Mutillidae II training system (https://sourceforge.net/projects/mutillidae/) and acts as the Alternate Director of Education for Kentucky ISSA chapter while authoring the Webpwnized YouTube Channel Cost: $40.00 donated directly to the Long Family in support of the “Long Journey” to Africa.
